THE HOMER SPIT

Weather In Homer

We bought land in Homer Alaska

We bought property in Anchor Point Alaska, which is 15 miles north of Homer AK. on the Keni Peninsula. We have 8 acres with a view of the Cook Inlet and the snow capped mountians on the other side of the inlet. We plan to move there in a couple of years and build a home on the property. This picture is where our house will sit.

Our friends Carrie and Daulton Warren moved there in May or 2008. We bought the land next to them. They are in a rental house now, and plan to build soon.

Top picture is a view of Homer from the highest hill. You can see the piece of land that travels out into the water, that is called the Spit. This is where people camp and fish for salmon during the summer. It has lots of little tourists shops and resturants.
